This is from today. The cat decided to lay on her...which is very unusual as Sacha just tries to stay away from her normally.

We went to Bradenton this morning for a contest to win tickets to a concert in September, so we decided to go out to the beach afterwards. It was very cloudy, but Jayna really enjoyed it. She loved watching the waves and was very fascinated by the seagulls flying around.

Nikki licking her like crazy. Nikki has this new thing where she tries to play with Jayna. Before Jayna came along, she would bark and play with a toy and run around trying to get Chelsea's attention to play with her. She now does this with Jayna...it is so funny.

Jayna has been taking a few steps while holding her hands. Today when I went to pick her up, she acted like she wanted to stand, so I held her hands while she was standing and she took off towards Nikki!! She was taking huge steps from what she was taking!! So here are some videos we caught on camera after everyone came home! Enjoy!

Here are a few pictures from Friday night. Jayna stayed at Grandma Susan's and Grandpa Jon's house while Great-Grandma Barbara babysat her (we all went to dinner at Olive Garden with other couples from the church). She fell asleep on the couch like this....it was so funny! My little diva!

Father's Day

We had a great first Father's Day here!! Thanks to everyone that made it special for Joshua (the phone calls, wishes, and cards; Grandma,thanks for calling and wishing Joshua a Happy Father's Day, that really made his day!). Being a Father is a wondeful thing and I know how much Mother's Day meant to me (it's better than any birthday and most holidays), therefore I am sure Joshua felt the same about Father's Day. Joshua really enjoyed playing his 12 string guitar..it sounded wonderful! I also made him a slideshow with pictures from when we first met up until currently and put music to it and then created a picture with a First Father's Day poem (with her footprints):

Quite surprisingly, Jayna was not afraid of their HUGE rottweiler!!

Here are several videos of Jayna from the past week or so.

This is a video of Jayna walking. She does a pretty good job of it when she is holding onto someone's hands and if she wants to get to the dog! She really doesn't have much interest in crawling. She just pushes herself with her legs to get to the toys she wants...so we'll see if she crawls or walks first!

Jayna trying to drink from a sippy cup. She can drink from one by herself pretty well. It comes out too fast for her now and half of it ends up coming out of her mouth, but it's a start! She would rather drink from our water bottles though! She has also started talking while drinking her bottles...it's pretty funny, especially walking through the stores or in church!
