Rolling and Crawling

Here are a couple of videos. We caught Jayna on camera rolling over and trying to crawl (although she was getting really frustrated because she can't quite yet!).

4 1/2 Months

We have finally mastered rolling over both ways!! She has been rolling from her tummy to her back for quite some time now. She finally rolled from her back to her tummy on Sunday! The pediatrician said last week that she looked like she was ready to roll from her back to her tummy, I just didn't expect her to pick it up that fast! Now onto the crawling! When she is on her belly, she scoots herself around using her legs, so it might not be long until she crawls as well! She is also sitting up by herself!! She falls over after a few seconds, but she can hold herself up now. She is starting to use her sippy cup as well. I think most of it ends up all over her, but she can now get it to her mouth and drink out of it! Here are some new pics!

Here is a video of Jayna trying to get her kitty. Grandma bought her this kitty (it is a Ty Beanie) from an airport while on travel before she was born, she absolutely loves it and usually falls asleep with it at night!

4 Months!

We had Jayna's four month physical today! She is doing very well. She weighed in at 12 lbs. 8oz. and is 24 1/2 inches long!! She had 5 more shots and the oral rotavius vaccine. Will try and take some new pictures sometime soon and post them. We are currently busy moving, so it will probably be next week before I can post any.

Growing!

It's been awhile since I updated and so much has gone on. Jayna has grown a lot lately. She is learning so much. She loves to grab toys (and of course put them in her mouth!). We bought her an activity gym and she is amazed with it! She is loving the pool and is learning how to splash...she gets a kick out of splashing me and grandma, but doesn't like it so much when she splashes herself! She also started 'talking' in a different voice today. It was the funniest thing. We visited the beach for the first time a week ago. She enjoyed feeling the sand and water on her feet! Here are lots of new pictures and two videos! We go back to the pediatrician on Thursday for her four month check-up and shots. I will try and update after that if I have time.

I love this picture of her! She loves to hold her head up and scoot around on her belly. She is also very good at rolling from her belly to her back now (don't think it will be long before she rolls from her back to her belly)!

Update

Here are a few new pics. Things are going well here and Jayna is growing daily...it is truly amazing.

Jayna found her feet! She has grabbed them a few times, but has really been grabbing them lately!

She has also been developing a lot of coordination with her hands. She loves to grab and hold things now (and try to put everything in her mouth!).

She LOVES to stand. She hates to lay down but would much rather stand or sit. I think she will be walking before she crawls (well probably swimming before either!)

The weather has been wonderful here! So we have been at Grandma's in the pool quite a bit. She absolutely loves the water (think she gets tired of the pictures taken though!).

After getting out of the pool. Definately makes her tired, she sleeps well after going in the pool!
